Sua mais nova placa-mãe topo de linha baseada no chipset X58, a
EX58-EXTREME 2 (que ainda não foi lançada oficialmente), teve o seu nome
alterado e agora é chamada GA-X58A-UD7. Esta placa suportará os
processadores soquete 1366, terá seis slots de memória DDR3, quatro slots
PCI Express x16, seis portas SATA-300, quatro portas SATA-600, duas portas
USB, duas portas eSATA, duas portas Gigabit Ethernet e áudio de 8 canais.
Especula-se que a GA-X58A-UD7 chegue ao mercado norte-americano custando
mais de US$ 400.
